Ginned Cotton, our first and foremost business was started in the late 1940’s. By our (Late) Grandfather who was a prominent cotton broker in Karachi Cotton Exchange of his times, since then the family is engaged in Cotton trade as Ginners, Traders and Brokers.

A joint family company doing cotton ginning and trading is also a member of Karachi Cotton Association since 1973. Moving forward in 2007 M/S. MAPKO PRIVATE LIMITED was incorporated and since then we have proven ourselves in terms reliability, quality and after services.

2024

At the same time a company with the name of Mapcot Textile Turkiya has been established in Turkiya for export of raw cotton from Turkiya and CIS countries to Pakistan.

2007

Another new Companies was formed in the name of Mapko Private Limited / Mapko Trade to handle international cotton brokerage business and buying all growths of cotton for Pakistani spinning Wells. Mapko trade is a member of karachi cotton association.

1976

Farhat Private limited company was established to handle cotton trading and textiles export business.

1959

Mohammed Yusuf Piracha (2nd Generation) , Our Father Entered into the cotton trade and continued the cotton brokerage business started by our grandfather together.

2024

Become members of the International Cotton Association (ICA) and Karachi Cotton Association (KCA).

2024

Further going into the process in 2024, a company with the name of Mapcot Global has been established as Cotton merchants / traders / agents. Member of karachi cotton association.

1989

Mr Muhammad Arif Piracha (3rd Generation) entered into the family business and increased the business from local trade to international trade and started a new product of terry towels and terry fitted sheets manufacturing and export business.

1971

The first parent company was established in the name of M/S Rahimsons and Company and became the member of Karachi Cotton Association as cotton Ginas and traders.

1940

Moved from Sargodha, Punjab to Karachi, our grandfather Haji Abdul Rahim Piracha. In the late 40s. He entered into the cotton brokerage business and this is the beginning of our cotton business.
